The University of Floridas (UF) Center for Digital Health and Wellness will hold the first Digital Health Communication Extravaganza, known as DHCX, conference Feb. 15-17 at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Fla.
This first-of-its-kind event is designed for health, medical, and communication professionals seeking practical, proven insights about how to promote and protect peoples health using digital communication innovations and technologies.
Information and communication technology is revolutionizing how health content is created, shared, accessed and applied, said Jay Bernhardt, co-founder of DHCX and director of the UF Center for Digital Health and Wellness. DHCX is for advanced users of information and communication technologies and those who want to become advanced users. Transferring artwork over the Internet
Internet is the right platform to grow business across the globe. Be it a large web design firm or a graphic artist running his/her own business from home, it is necessary to take complete advantage of Internet technology and advanced communication protocol to meet business objectives. The size of the file matters when you are exchanging file via Email. The upper limit of the size of the mail (including the attachment) is defined in the Mail Gateway, which transfers digital information in the form of data packets. However, you can send large image files by breaking the one file in several parts, which is not a user-friendly process and requires extra effort to combine the files.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., was awarded a $3.2 million contract for satellite communications ground equipment. A mobile operator in Latin America will procure equipment against the contract to support satellite-based mobile backhaul network expansion projects.
The contract covers purchases of Comtech EF Data’s advanced communication solutions, including modems and RF products. The Comtech EF Data products are designed and manufactured at the Tempe, Arizona plant. Based on technologies that provide satellite bandwidth efficiency and link optimization, the solutions reduce OPEX/CAPEX, optimize bandwidth and lower the total cost of ownership.
Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., noted, “This contract award is another example of Comtech’s global leadership in supporting satellite-based mobile backhaul deployments.”

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Ilan Ben-Dov plans to step down as chairman of Partner Communications (PTNR.TA), Israel’s second largest mobile phone operator, the company said on Sunday.
Partner (PTNR.O) said in a statement Ben-Dov — also the controlling shareholder — intends to continue to serve as a director of Partner and that the board will discuss appointing a new chairman in the next few days.
The company did not give a reason for Ben-Dov’s resignation or state when he would end his term.
Partner’s shares were down 1.6 percent at midday in Tel Aviv compared with a flat broader marker.
Ben-Dov controls Partner, which operates under the Orange brand name, through stakes in Scailex (SCIX.TA) and its parent Suny Electronics (SUNY.TA).
Scailex, the sole importer of Samsung mobile handsets in Israel, holds 44.54 percent of Partner’s shares while Suny has an additional 1.4 percent.
Ori Licht, an analyst at the IBI Investment House, said investors would ultimately approve of Ben-Dov’s decision to step down since reports in the Israeli media about problems with his other businesses were weighing on its shares.
“Ben-Dov apparently decided to take a step back and remain an owner and a director but not the man who stands up front and represents the face of the company,” Licht said.
He noted that Partner’s main rival, Cellcom (CEL.N) (CEL.TA), was trading at a 20 percent premium to Partner, which the market calls the “Ben-Dov premium.”
Last month, debt-laden Scailex said it was seeking to sell an unspecified amount of shares in Partner to a strategic partner, while maintaining control, to shore up its balance sheet.
Scailex bought a controlling stake in Partner from Hutchison Telecommunications (0013.HK) in 2009 for $1.38 billion, or $17.50 per share, well above Friday’s closing price on Nasdaq of $9.02.
Scailex’s debt is estimated at more than 3 billion shekels ($781 million). In recent weeks, the Israeli units of Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s Investors Service both cut its ratings citing less than adequate liquidity.
Scailex has also failed in an attempt to sell 50 percent of its import and distribution activities for Samsung mobile phones.
Israel’s corporate sector has seen a wave of top executives announcing plans to step down. Israel Chemicals (ICL.TA) President and Chief Executive Akiva Mozes is to go after 13 years in the job.
